I presume Bash is off the field. Surprising if it's not his bowling hand. He can have an x-ray tonight...

Comms saying he will not take the field today, and will require further treatment on it. I guess if its a bad injury it doesnt matter if its not the bowling hand.

I suppose there's the fielding to consider. I'd like to see him bowling though.

Ben Stokes looks more and more uncharacteristically rattled as the day goes on. Can feel his frustration with his bowlers, he's clearly not happy. Took the matter in his own hands with a very probing spell, but McCullum had to send Tim Southee down to tell him to stop knackering himself out and to get Carse on. Had a few snipes at Jadeja, Ian Ward had to apologies for the blue language accompanying every ball being picked up on the stump mike... he's not a happy bunny. Been a bit of a solo act though, Stokes has bowled really well but the others have been a bit toothless (Archer has been ok tbf).

Carse now giving a bit of chin to Jadeja as well. Do the chat with the ball Brydon...

Maybe feels the media is twisting the over rate to fit an agenda.

Anyway, Woakes has another wicket to take into retirement with him.

My personal calculation is the game is about even if the side batting second goes past the other team's total with 8 down. So India currently ahead for me.

Nice little 3-fer for Woakesy. 4th catch for Smith.

A quick wicket and Crawley will have a few balls to face tonight! And he will, if the players can be bothered. All out.

72.3 overs were bowled yeaterday!!

Should be comfortably two overs bowled. But the time remaining seems to have evaporated in the sunshine.

Crawley delay tactics are a bit cynical.
