the fight back begins, helped by a dropped catch, although I'm guessing it wasn't an easy one

Stokes on, so that can't be a good sign, given there are already 4 quicks out there

These two going along at 4 an over, which is a stark contrast to the start of Australia's innings

an hour left, so England have 4 overs to nip these two out, or parity at least is on the cards tomorrow

I need Boycott to tell me to add 2 wickets to the scoreline

got to go to work now, which is a bit of a shame. I'll be hoping that Australia are not still 5 down when I return

Great fightback! That's quite a tail as well, with Lyono at 9. Mustn't count chickens though.

Travis Head will be sick as a parrot getting out like that. Did the hard work and threw it away.

Australia found themselves in the Caribbean in these situations, and Carey stuck around and made the difference. England need to get him out quick and into this long tail.

People with tickets for day 3 might be worried at this point

12 minutes of scheduled play left and 66 overs bowled! This is like West Indies in the eighties.

Might get it to high 70s with the extra half hour.

England could do with a wicket here... obviously. Get Lyon in.

Presume Wood will get another spell now.

Just like Head, what is Starc doing? ITs day one and 16 wickets have fell, why play shot like that with a proper bat at the other end? Idiotic

Lyon averages 12, so not a rabbit. But Carey might want to push on.

Not when he hits one straight to a fielder..... .

Stokes has been the worst of the bowlers, but has picked up 4. Seems to have encouraged the Australian batters to gift their wickets away
