I'm struggling to understand SL's batting approach. Going along at 3 an over seems like a flawed strategy to me

judging from the live feed, it would appear that Ravindra is getting so much turn on this track that half of his deliveries are being called wide. Perhaps SL should not have tried to hit him. They might have saved themselves 4 wickets and be 20 runs further on

It doesn't take a genius to work out that the co hosts are crashing out of their own tournament on pitches of their own making

As part of his right good laugh at rubbish England, Brad Haddin predicted that SL would be a very dangerous team in the super 8's as the pitches deteriorate, even suggesting they could easily go all the way. Not such a bright boy is he?

SL have been awful..... but better than Australia, of course. Perhaps he could concentrate his mind on that a little more?

Sri Lanka will be very disappointed with their showing on home pitches . Though after the way England blanked them in pre-WC matches maybe it shouldn't have been a surprise ?

Group not quite settled as if NZ were to lose to England , Pakistan would have a shot at reining in the NRR difference by thrashing the already eliminated hosts. Which would also get them a semi in Columbo ! Reckon it is a little unlikely though.

The other group seems pretty open. Even if Zimbabwe aren't likely to cause the Big Upset...

Still only had one close game in the Super Eight rounds. Being England , the NZ match will probably be the second
