Should vote plenty of runs, some questions maybe about the bowling but should - barring any disasters- surely be at least good enough to finish in the top 2.

If we ask for the type of pitches we prepared last year, I wouldn't bank on that

Even with better pitches I'm not so sure. The leggie might make a big difference, but I suspect we might not play spin half the time and when we do, I'm not convinced Lees knows what to do with one

Campo came to this club saying that we'd have a spinner in the side for every game, until we didn't.... and then got relegated

I'm a little surprised we didn't bring in at least one experienced seamer. Ideally an effective spinner too but they're hard to come by! I know Roach will be expected to lead the attack but I'd rather he was 27 not 37.

We have an extra seamer in Aldridge, but I'm unclear as to whether he's here more for the white ball stuff

We have improved our spin options, in that we now have an offie, a leftie and a leggie. Whether the quality is there remains to be seen

agree about Roach. Given that BR's opening spell is often his least productive, it'll be interesting to see if KR opens alongside Pottsy.

Speaking of Matty Potts, it feels as though he has a bit of potency rebuilding to do this year. He had a poor season last year, although England 12th man call ups will not have helped him

Yes, think Minto had personal issues that kept him absent for much of last year.
Definitely big season for Potts, was average at best last year.
