43 runs required from 28 balls. India is getting close and the ball to run gap is well within control. :dance

36 required for 24 balls. 9 rpo is rrr. This should be done with hitters like sanju, Hardik and Shivam. Even Axar can play at good striek rate on his day.

India in semis. :party Win by 5 wickets and 4 balls to spare. Against a good team like WI who have many players with abundance of T20 format experience and titles as well. I thought that WI were short by 15 runs here and it cost them the semis.

Excelelnt knock by Sanju. Came to open and remained not out taking India to victory scoring 97 not out from 50 balls. That too on a day when he was not at his best as has been seen in past. He has played strokeplay much fluently that he did today but that flair was still missing to an extent. Awesome time for him to stand up for India.

Smart move not to bowl Dube at all. India might have fallen short chasing an extra 10 or 15 runs

I think Indian team management visited CMS and read our discussion recently

Still a bowler short, but then even WI were bowler short. In fact it is same case with all other teams everyone wants more batters and less specialist bowlers. If we had Mike Hesson as our coach, we would be playing just 2 specialist batsmen :lmao

Maybe surprising that only one non-subcon country has made the semis. Though there was no Bangladesh of course.

And England seem to have adapted to the different conditions better than usual. And better than I expected.

Still, beating India will be a huge task.

Easy enough chase down by India in the end. West Indies have some great six hitters but a bit light in the bowling department.

Probably the expected four teams in the semis. Anyone can win on a day but I'd think SA are bookies favourites given their consistent form over the two group stages.

Hoping for some closely contested finals.

yes, I have SA as favourites. They just look like the complete package to me. They've cruised through each phase and have been able to simply rest their key bowlers along the way without affecting their potency
