All competitions - pit your wits against the rest :)

Only 4 active players this week so not a Top 5, but instead...

Weekly Round-Up

We start with the player that played in the highest profile fixture but did the least well. Rachin Ravindra's tournament never really took off and he registered just 31 points in the final to be our lowest scoring player this week.

Travis Head started his return to Red Ball cricket looking as out of nick as he was in the World Cup but then came back with a decent half century in the second dig against New South Wales this week to see him finish with 103 points and move up 2 places overall to 12th.

Mehidy Hasan Miraz has looked awful for large parts of this year but seems a changed man leading out the Tigers. A three-fer takes him to 110 points this week.

Our number one player this week has returned to domestic cricket after a disappointing World Cup and played a bit of a blinder. Two games for Karachi Region Whites saw him score 86and get 4 wickets as a reminder to his national selectors that he still can play. 246 points this week moves him into fifth - 36 points behind Harry Brook.

Overall Top 5

For the third week in a row the Top 5 looks like this:

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi 1302
Quinton de Kock 1248
Aiden Markram 1239
Sam Curran 1156
Harry Brook 1011

All five players were inactive this week.

Highest Weekly Average

1. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi = 260.4
2.Ravindra Jadeja = 181.33
3. Nat Sciver-Brunt = 177.75

Good Week for Saim Ayub; up 17.74 to 121.88. Bad week for Rachin Ravindra; down 5.51 to 80.6.

The calm before the IPL storm has reached an almost comical level this year with only two players featuring this week.

Mehidy Hasan Miraz gets a very hollow looking first Cricketer of the Week award this week. With 131 points in two ODI games against Pakistan, MHM has the 13th lowest weekly high totals in the 8 years of our game. He does, however, move up two places over-taking Simon Harmer and Phil Salt into 15th.

Pathum Nissanka made his red ball debut for 2026 before dropping over to join up with Delhi for the IPL. He scored a decent 77 at a SR over 80 for Nondescripts against Police Sports Club. He overtakes Rachin Ravindra into 8th place.

Overall Top 5

For the third week in a row the Top 5 looks like this:

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi 1302
Quinton de Kock 1248

Highest Weekly Average

1. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi = 260.4
2.Ravindra Jadeja = 181.33

Just had a quick check of next week......

These things are always quite hard to judge but there's a very real chance that we will have zero points scored next week.

That has never happened before

Even funnier than 0 people contributing points this week.....is ....just Saim Ayub. Congratulations on the winner of the least competitive Cricketer of the Week award to date

The Cricket List Saim Ayub Special

In an almost comical turn of events, Saim Ayub is the only player to have registered point this week. With 37 points in the opening game of the PSL, he creates a new record for lowest ever Weekly High Score. This was previously held by Babar Azam almost exactly two years ago for a solitary PSL score.

Overall Top 5

1. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi - 1302 - Inexplicably remained top despite 6 weeks of inactivity. Will be back in action for the first time as a 15 year old when Rajasthan face Chennai on Monday.

2. Quinton de Kock - 1248 - Has just the nine point lead on third place. Just the one game for him this week as Mumbai play Kolkata on Sunday.

3. Aiden Markram - 1239 - A great World Cup saw Markram crash into the Top 5 and could go even higher with 63 points between third and first with no pressure from below him.

4. Sam Curran - 1156 - Ruled out of the IPL and will drop like a stone with a plethora of cricket to come over the coming weeks.

5. Saim Ayub - 1012 - Celebrates the start of the PSL with his debut appearance in the Overall Top 5. Lot of cricket to come from him so could really cement his place.

Highest Weekly Average

1. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi = 260.4
2.Ravindra Jadeja = 181.33
3. Nat Sciver-Brunt = 177.75
