Weekly Top 5

1. Sophie Ecclestone - 219 - 100 wickets in two games for Ecclestone as she becomes the 80th individual winner of Cricketer of the Week. Move sup to 16th place overall.

2. Jos Buttler - 218 - Came within just one point of back-to-back Cricketer of the Week awards. Since the start of The Hundred three weeks ago, nobody has scored more than his 578 points.

3. Nicholas Pooran - 203 - Is using The Hundred to string together back-to-back decent performances for the first time in any competition in 2026. Is up to a yearly high position of 12th overall.

4. Phil Salt - 198 - Was at an advantage this week as he played three games compared to 2 from everyone else but still managed 98 runs and a huge 60 fielding points.

5. Harry Brook- 181 - Another dramatic week in the Harry Brook soap opera saw him equal the record for fastest 50 in The Hundred in 15 balls against London Spirit.

Overall Top 5

1. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi - 3458 - Inactive this week and that lead is starting to look a little more tentative. Only 367 points between him and second now.

2. Jos Buttler - 3091 - Half a thousand points in three week holds Buttler in second position for a second week.

3. Simon Harmer - 2913 - Pootling along in the One Day Cup and also pootling along in third. 178 points aboved him and 343 below him.

4. Sam Curran - 2570 - In a week where the powers that be have suggested he could be back in the Test team, Curran got his fourth 100+ score in 5 weeks to keep him in 4th spot.

5. Harry Brook- 2455 - Brook's explosive hit against London Spirit propels him back into the Top 5 after two weeks away.

Highest Weekly Average

1. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi = 172.9
2. Simon Harmer = 138.71 (Down from 141.1)
3. Harry Brook = 136.39 (Up from 133.76)

Differing fortunes for two Manchester players as Ecclestone improves the most (up 7.8 to 86.33) with Dawson going the other way (down 3.27 to 90.59)

Weekly Top 5

1. Paul Walter - 238 - A phenomenal score for The Hundred's breakout star as he scores 108 runs in two Manchester innings. Jumps a huge 5 spots to 16th on the Overall List.

2. Ravindra Jadeja - 225 - Had been out of action for eleven weeks and subsequently dropped to the bottom of the List...but 225 points moves him up to 20th before a Test series against Sri Lanka.

3. Mehidy Hasan Miraz - 215 - Test warm up games can either be feast or famine ...and the Bangladesh captain certainly tucked in this week against a Cricket Australia XI. Unusually a majority of his points came from the bat.

4. Simon Harmer - 193 - Three One Day Cup Games sees Harmer into the Top 5. The highlight of his week was 32 and a wicket against Durham.

5. Nat Sciver-Brunt - 189 - Is playing so well at the moment. When she enters a tournament or a game she has the skills and acumen to turn it around without breaking sweat. Up to 12th overall.

Overall Top 5

1.Vaibhav Sooryavanshi - 3458 - Will be inactive for at least another fortnight and his lead is now 351.

2. Simon Harmer - 3107 - Moves back into second place - but only has a five point jump on Buttler and has now been knocked out of the One Day Cup

3. Jos Buttler - 3102 - Just 11 points for the new Manchester captain sees him down a place to third. However it is only 5 points and he has at least 1 more game of The Hundred left.

4.Sam Curran - 2732 - A decent score of 162 this week was not enough for Curran's MI London to qualify. He scored 648 points across the tournament.

5.Harry Brook - 2567 - Played three games this week but only had one superhuman effort so remains in fifth with Gill 129 points below him.

Highest Weekly Average

1. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi = 172.9
2. Simon Harmer = 141.23 (Up from 138.71 )
3. Harry Brook = 135.11 (Down from 136.39)

Jadeja's return sees his average improve the most - up 9.74 to 117.93 whilst Bracewell's ineffectual cameo for Manchester sees him down 6.15 to 104.85

Weekly Top 5

1. Mehidy Hasan Miraz - 275 - A historic week for his side and Cricketer of the Week to boot. MHM was instrumental in his side's humbling of Australia. Moves up to 7th place overall - his highest point at any point this year.

2. Ravindra Jadeja - 182 - Continuing his recovering from hitting bottom place in the List with a second week in the Top 5. His 4 wickets against Sri Lanka moves him to 17th.

3. Paul Walter - 162 - Continued his amazing late tournament spell of form in The Hundred with 102 runs in the last two games. Instrumental to Manchester's victory in the tournament.

4. Jos Buttler - 156 - Two decent performances in the last two games sess the stand-in Manchester captain in fourth place for the week.

5. Harry Brook - 89 - Big gap between the Top 4 and 5th this week but Brook's 89 points game in just one game against Manchester. 49 runs with 30 SR points and a catch.

Overall Top 5

1. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi - 3458 - Will be back in action this Sunday in his first Red Ball foray.....and who knows what to expect there.

2. Jos Buttler - 3258 - His Hundred heroics sees him back up to second after being deposed last week.

3. Simon Harrmer - 3107 - Back down to third after an inactive week.

4. Sam Curran - 2732 - Seemed to be on the cusp of a Test recall but is now out with injury. With a number of weeks out of the game we could see him lose his Top 5 berth.

5. Harry Brook - 2656 - Got 45 more points than Shubman Gill in 6th and extends his lead on him to 174.

Highest Weekly Average

1. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi = 172.9

Re: 2026 All Year Fantasy Competition

Postby The Professor » Fri Aug 28, 2026 1:08 pm

For the first time in the 8 year history of this, we have a tie in first place.

Weekly Top 5

=1. Ravindra Jadeja - 213 - His return to Test cricket has seen him improve his overall position by two places every week for the last three weeks. Earns his 15th Cricketer of the Week; fourth on the All-Time List with Buttler's 18 his next target.

=1. Saim Ayub = 213 - Grabs his joint top spot berth thanks to a massive century against St Kitts and Nevis overnight. This is his fourth Cricketer of the Week this year, only Sooriyavanshi has more.

3. Harry Brook = 121 - Grabs third spot for his 91 against Pakistan in the first Test.

4. Simon Harmer = 118 - Back to the County Championship and back in the points. 28 runs with 2 wickets and low economies sees him in fourth for the week.

5. Nicholas Pooran - 103 - Continues his phoenix like redemption in the second half of the year, largely solely down to his 43 runs against Antigua and Barbuda. Up a place to 11th overall.

Overall Top 5

1. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi - 3546 - Back in action this week but only 8 runs off the bat in the Duleep Trophy - enigmatically picks up a further 70 points with his bowling.

2. Jos Buttler - 3258 - Inactive this week but just about manages to hold on to second place. Will not be as lucky next week.

3. Simon Harmer - 3225 - Finished fourth for the week and narrows the gap on second spot to 33 points. Has a huge gap of 448 points from fourth.

4. Harry Brook - 2777 - Half way through his summer and has moved up a place to fourth.

5. Sam Curran - 2732 - Inactive this week and only in the Top 5 thanks to a rather subdued performance from Gill in 6th.

Highest Weekly Average

1. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi = 168.86 (Down from 172.9)
2. Simon Harmer = 140.22 (Down from 141.23)
3. Harry Brook = 13224 (Down from 132.8)

Jadeja's high-scoring week moves him up 6.44 points to 129.29. Bracewell scores just one point and unsurprisingly drops the most - down 6.44 to 91.2

Re: 2026 All Year Fantasy Competition

Postby Durhamfootman » Fri Aug 28, 2026 3:31 pm

Rumours of retirement for my boy. I didn't pick him last year and if I had, I'd have romped home with the title

I reckon 2 scenarios are open to me. I pick Harmer for 2027 and he'll retire from Essex a couple of weeks before the new season starts. I don't pick him and he'll decide to stay and have a terrific year (like 2025)

With Dawson jacking it in mid season this year, it feels as though players screw me up no matter what I do

Only 9 cricketers register a score this week - will still plough on with a Top 5.

Weekly Top 5

1. Nicholas Pooran - 287 - Continuing his late year revival. No player has scored more than him over the last three weeks (454).This is a man who was in last place 11 weeks ago and 14th 6 weeks ago...he is now 11 points off 7th.

2. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi - 195 -Had a poor time with the bat in his first senior Red Ball game but made up for it this week with 132 to see his East Zone side through to the final on Sunday.

3. Quinton de Kock - 187 - Only one man has more T20 hundreds than QDK...but he would be most proud of his third place finish for the week here. Up to 7th place Overall.

4.Simon Harmer- 128- The third time in arow where Harmer has scored 100+ in active weeks. Got there with just the ball this week having scored just 6 with the bat.

5. Harry Brook - 79 - 49 runs and three contributions in the field for Brook to keep him in the Top 5 for the third week on the bounce.

Overall Top 5

1. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi - 3728 - Moving in on that 4000 point mark - but only extended his lead on second by 8 points this week.

2. Simon Harmer - 3353 - Back up into second place again after losing it last week. Just 95 points between him and third.

3.Jos Buttler - 3258 - Inactive this week but will be back next week with a white ball serie against Sri Lanka to get tucked into.

4. Harry Brook - 2856 -553 points separate him from the next active player this week (De Kock in 7th) whilst he needs 402 points to move up in the world. Fairly safe in 4th.

5. Sam Curran - 2856 - Just about holding on to fifth...but might manage to keep the berth for another week.

Ones To Watch

The closest gap comes between two explosive batters plying their trades in two CPL franchises. Barbados' De Kock currently has 11 more points than Trinbago's Pooran.

Highest Weekly Average

1. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi = 169.91 (Up from 168.86)
2. Simon Harmer = 139.71 (Down from 140.22)

Despite it being a very low scoring week overall - all 7 of our contributors scored over 100. Just a Top three though.

Weekly Top 3

1. Quinton de Kock - 191 - Very much enjoying his time in the CPL. This week's score very much bolstered by the fact he played three games this week but got 40s in two of them.

2. Simon Harmer - 178 - Marked his final outing for Essex this year with four wickets against Sussex. Will be on the domestic scene in South Africa in the coming weeks.

3. Michael Bracewell - 157 - Making the most of it out in the European T20 Premier League. He got 6 wickets across three games for Amsterdam.

Overall Top 5

1. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi - 3840 - 52 runs across both innings in the Duleep Trophy final gave him 102 points. Second place is on his heels though.

2. Simon hamer-3531- Narrows the gap on first and increases the gap on third. Very well insulated now with 309 above and 402 below.

3. Jos Buttler -3258 - Inactive this week but will soon be back in England colours.....letting the Top 2 drift away though.

4.Harry Brook -2856 - Perhaps would have expected top have registered points this week but the third Test against Pakistan continues to rumble on.

5. Sam Curran - 2732 - Inactive and injured this week - Quinton De Kock is now a feasible threat, 238 points below him in seventh.

Ones to Watch

if Michael Bracewell keeps his form he may do a bit of a mini surge. 235 points split 19th to 15th.

Highest Weekly Average

1. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi = 166.96(Down from 169.91)
2. Simon Harmer = 141.24 (Up from 139.71)
3. Sam Curran = 130.1

Sooryavanshi drops the most this week but still keeps top spot - whilst Pooran's average goes above 100 for the first time this year.
