He always said he wanted to end his involvement in football back at AFCB but he probably realises that we're in a pretty decent position now, financially and positionally, and he'll probably retire now and come and watch the games down here as much as he can. Think he had minor heart surgery a few years back so coupled with his knee surgery it probably is the right time to call it a day before he gets the push.

Couple of other players out on loan, and then United loan in a player from Bolton, and give a 18 month contract to a player who has been playing for Salford in the Evo-Stik First Division.
Are untied trying to balance the books? Saving money for another huge summer spend? To many players on high wages? Or just getting rid of all the old wood?
I'm surprised not more has been said about this transfer window for United.
