Although judging by the locations of all the teams he's managed he'd probably get a nosebleed going too far North of Watford Gap.

you don't think this happening the day after the transfer window closes and the owners didn't let him throw money at signings had anything to do with it ?

Not much been said about Man United.

They managed to get rid of 3 players who probably had some high wages. Fletcher might be missed if fully fit, Zaha seems like a waste of money and i wonder how much they got back for him. And finally Anderson is gone, for free.

Couple of other players out on loan, and then United loan in a player from Bolton, and give a 18 month contract to a player who has been playing for Salford in the Evo-Stik First Division.

Are untied trying to balance the books? Saving money for another huge summer spend? To many players on high wages? Or just getting rid of all the old wood?

I'm surprised not more has been said about this transfer window for United.

Hoddle and Joe Jordan have followed 'Arry out the door of QPR.

Do they both need knee replacements too?

I won't have a bad word said about our 'Arry, he's a legend round these parts, always has a cheery word when he's out walking his dog down the beach at Sandbanks.

He always said he wanted to end his involvement in football back at AFCB but he probably realises that we're in a pretty decent position now, financially and positionally, and he'll probably retire now and come and watch the games down here as much as he can. Think he had minor heart surgery a few years back so coupled with his knee surgery it probably is the right time to call it a day before he gets the push.

I know he has a history of dodgy dealings and court cases behind him but he can't do much wrong in the eyes of most Bournemouth supporters. A loveable rogue is the traditional expression.

The brother of a friend, who was the golf pro at a local course (ringwood?) died last year. Harry made the effort, and attended the funeral, and came across as a top bloke, according to a couple of mates.

An extremely gregarious chap by all accounts, with one or two skeletons in the closet.

Get rid of a deadwood and big summer spend if we get champs league.

Centre back, right back, centre mid and a winger.
