But at least it wasn't at C9 level.
Boycott is abysmal, but he's very popular, so that's a question of taste.

The advertising of other programmes on the channel by the commentators can go. But at least it wasn't at C9 level.
There wasn't anyone at a Morrison/Shastri standard of vacuousness. Boycott is abysmal, but he's very popular, so that's a question of taste.
Arthur Crabtree wrote:Boycott's commentary keeps on getting more infantile (before you get to the overbearing, bullying demeanour). He was saying stuff like 'England won't want to lose a wicket' or 'the bowlers have got to keep to good lines'- really everything at that level of insight. If the woman commentator was coming out with this stuff, there would be (a twitter powered) outrage.
MPV feels to me easily the most insightful pundit around. He doesn't always bother, but listening to him work over a batter from the box, is a joy. Sadly he doesn't often think we want that detail of insight. OK, he's a bit flash, but that actually comes across less outside the TMS box.

People will disagree, but GS is the worst commentator I have ever heard. Id rather listen to Healy and Slats talk utter trash.... and dare I say, Mark Nicholas. That felt wrong to say that, but its honest.

BT Coverage been dreadful, been a mix of Channel 9 level bantz and trying to be professional like sky just doesn't work.
Can't believe they couldn't get anyone better than Swann on.
English commentators are poor for BT Sports only really Vaughan is any good and he generally one of the weak links for TMS.
Boycott is like marmite people either like him or really hate him.
