Canada has also had plenty of board issues over the years, add to that the retirement of one of their best players in Davison after the last world cup and things have taken a step backwards. Their youngsters however are showing promise with some good performances so there is some good news on the canadian front.
Good point Koyomi, I think hopefully we'll soon see Canada 'do an Ireland' as in make the transition from fielding players who qualify through residence (Johnston, Langford-Smith, West, Botha) to getting in the batch that have developed their cricket under the guidance of the national setup. There will of course be a dip as the change is made and the new faces find their feet. If the Canadians can get their board in order then along with the Irish (for obvious reasons) plus the Dutch and Zimbabweans (who both have slick operations off the field) then we will see a healthy second tier.
Even spinners don't bowl those long spells nowadays.
