To be honest, I haven't a clue who Alan Hansen is, but suspect that he is one of those sitting round a table (talking at high speed as I fast forward in any sport) who is paid lots of money to talk about nothing in particular to enable a 90 minute game to take up 3 hours on the TV. If he is an ex footballer, then it would explain the lack of intelligence in this case.

As a matter of interest, how much do these people earn for their infinitesimally small contribution to sport on TV?
