So any organisation with a three letter abbreviation and a 'B' or 'C' included is to blame for this whole problem.
Work expands to fill the time available, so why do today what can be put off until tomorrow.

Don't know quite how many more times I can point out that I disagree with the setting up of systems where a single party or side is entirely to blame.

If you're just going to keep putting my points in your own words to twist them out of any meaning that they originally had then I'm just going to put you on my ignore list to save any accusations of "post boosting" by having to just point out how divorced your comments are yet again from the content expressed.

“Former England and Wales Cricket Board chairman Lord MacLaurin said Pietersen's situation was all of his own making and the symptom of a deep character flaw.”

Hard to reasonably take issue with that.

It is another example of people doing nothing but taking the start point and its current conclusion as the same thing with out questioning anything that happened in between these points.

To break this down into perhaps something a little clearer before people yet again try and convert something into an "apologist" - or whatever buzz word they happen to be using this week - comment.

The situation started because of KPs actions but it did not develop solely based on KPs actions. The current situation is not all of KPs making because he has not been involved in abstraction of other parties contributing to and shaping the eventual outcome.

His view, though, seems a lot less fanciful than much of the speculation presented to us on CMS.

The exact opposite is more the case, D/L. By ignoring the blatantly obvious external factors and drawing a straight line between X and Y it is essentially nothing more than the way science is taught in Lower School - Ignore all the detail of why something actually happens, just tell them it does.

I was tempted to be rather sceptical of that comment. I mean, how could anyone outside the England set-up possibly know that, but then I remembered that it was through sbef that we first learned that Onions was as good a batsman as Bairstow.

Ah, but Shanky is in the England set-up... occasionally. ;)

I can't wait for the end of the year awards. This is definitely going to be thread of the year, though I wonder if it will fizzle out as both sides will have the other on ignore. If it ever gets to that stage, worry not, I shall argue with myself whilst changing between my ECB tie and KP mask. As a disclaimer, neither exist.

I'm delighted. Had KP gone out and smacked 175* or something prior to the inevitable capitulation at Lord's tomorrow it would only cloud the issues even further.
Anything can happen with a round ball.

Coz we're going up, and we'll win the cup, for Sussex by the Sea!
