Hope you haven't just read it all! There has been quite a lot to the argument on both sides, which has been interesting. And some prejudice as well. Which has been less interesting.

Currently, we need to find a way to turn off the press tap. I think just something vaguely positive and supportative from the ECB would help. Or even a plea for space to deal with the issue. Given they've been using the press as an outlet it would be a bit hypocritical, but maybe Strauss could try it. Just back their player, however qualified that might be. The press coverage is making the national team look absurd.

AC the ECB, Flower and Strauss have asked for space but the Daily Mail (amonth others) dont seem to be having any of it. Its no coincidence that the day that Strauss and KP were due to meet these 'new' revelations came out, and they're just doing what they always do and stiring the sh!t.

It appears the meeting didnt take place as was planned this weekend, though Strauss was on holiday with his family for most of the week, and KP is down in Taunton for a CC game there, if he plays, I suspect the meeting wont take place until later this week, in time for the media to drag up some other minor issue, and use that against him, researchers going through various Biographies and trying to get snippits for other salacious information.

I see Strauss is not playing for Middlesex today which was intended, maybe his meeting with KP is the reason.
Work expands to fill the time available, so why do today what can be put off until tomorrow.

yep, theres a possibilty that KP could be invited for tea/dinner at the Strauss's on his way back to town from Somerset later in the week,

Just under half the Surrey score has been made by KP, not a bad way of getting back into the swing of first class cricket.

Thank you, that proves he's not been so far ahead of the others as to warrant all the extra time and effort it takes just to keep a lid on him. It was always going to end in tears, get him cried out and pack him off to whatever T20 league he wants to play in. And if he wants to throw his toys out the pram with them, let him.

KP scores a ton at the bowlers graveyard that is Taunton and it gets raved about, bemoaning of his exclusion in the South Africa ODI series. Is this the same Kevin Pietersen who got out to a golden duck, off the part-time spin of Liam Dawson the other week?

KP might be a world beater on his day but that's how far it goes, Tim Bresnan has proved that one talented player has already got replaced by another talented player.

I dont see how his score today is relevant, he hasnt been dropped on form, even his biggest haters ( which I am 1 of ) can admit hes got alot of talent. He has been dropped for being a ****

It's not, just commenting on the rather excellent innings he's playing at present, much to my annoyance.

Nice that KP got some decent applause for his ton today, by the way.
