Cole has now apologised saying he tweeted in the heat of the moment.

Maybe KP should use that defence for texts if he does it again.

They are all so hopeless, if i were famous I would never have a twitter account. I don't have one anyway and have no intention of getting one.

It comes across at times that footballers have the brain cells to figure out how to play football, yet when it comes things such as appropriate behavior or social networking they seem to vanish on a constant basis. :facepalm

England U21 scenes against Serbia look very bad.

Think its about time we start to see countries banned for continued rascism. It will be very interesting to see what comes out of this, but it looks very bad.

He will, but not the big issue to come from this game this evening.

He was verbally abused, he responded by assaulting the crowd ( not sure what else smacking a ball at them would be classed as ) thats a bigger issue too me.

Not saying I condone racism, but reacting isnt good either.

The Serbs will get a token fine and no more.

If FIFA and UEFA want to get serious about stamping out racial abuse they need to come down firm on transgressors.

Ban Serbia from the next U21 tournament. IF that doesn't work ban them from all games.

'England Under-21 captain Jordan Henderson has told how players suffered racist abuse and came under attack from missile-throwing Serbian fans after his side qualified for Euro 2013. Fans ran on to the pitch and scuffles broke out after England won 1-0 in Krusevac to progress 2-0 on aggregate. The Football Association has reported "a number" of racist incidents to Uefa. "There was a lot of racist abuse out there from the stands and a lot going on after the game," Henderson said.'

:no

Yes, Danny Rose lost his temper under the extreme, racist provocation, but I understand his reaction, and actually support it....

If a football kicked into a crowd hurts a racist Serbian wimp, then I'm all for it!
