1.its probably that the aussies used it terribly in the first couple of tests and in the next couple the 3rd umpire has interpreted it incorrectly

2.there seems to be an uproar if a decision isnt correct with drs whereas it used to be brushed off as "part of the game", people seem to think that it should be 100% correct decision with drs and get very annoyed when that isnt the case and suggest that it isnt working even though it has significantly increased the number of correct decisions

3.hotspot seems to have gone backwards also, its like the cameras are less sensitive now or something

1.no doubt
2.Agree, but also an incorrect decision is often confused with a clash of opinions or dislike of a decision against one's supported side.
3. Is this a coincidence? Does the tape furore have some credence?
Maybe

hotspot got upgraded not long ago, its like they have gone back to the old cameras, i would swear its not as high a definition as it used to be, there was a period where it was picking up everything even the very fine edges, now that isnt the case for some reason. i dont know if my expectations of the tech have increased or it is something more draconian like tape

http://www.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine/c ... 38925.html

Afghanistan scored 169 in 50 overs, Nepal are 84/3 when it rains and are then set 174 in 46 overs. Can somebody explain how it's possible to reduce overs and somehow get a higher target than what they were originally chasing??

It's been amended now to 161. That makes more sense.

Fair enough. Glad I don't have to work out D/L calculations.

One of the biggest chokes ever. Nepal needed 37 off 11.2 overs with 7 wickets in hand and ended up losing by 3 runs.

Zimbabwe's best bowler Kyle Jarvis has retired from international cricket to pursue a county career. Rumour is he is joining Lancashire.

Sad news for Zimbabwe but i guess given the two options, county is easily best for him.

It appears Edgbaston has been downgraded to a one day arena.
Work expands to fill the time available, so why do today what can be put off until tomorrow.
