This Ashes game has been withdrawn from sale. I wonder why?

I'm a bit surprised to see Jimmy Anderson nominated for the Test player of the year. He had a notable success at TB last summer, but I didn't feel him to be at his best over the last 12 months, and Broad or Swann might have been better picks, particularly with Swann doing a lot to win in India.

The young player nominations look very strong this year, with Boult, Starc, Pujara and Root. As good as Joe has been this year, he'll probably finish last here.

Out of the Test nominations, Amla, Steyn, Anderson, Pujara, Ashwin and Clarke, it's surely between Amla and Clarke. SA are always hurt by how few Tests they play.

Test team: Cook, Pujara, Amla, Clarke, Hussey (!), deVilliers, Dhoni, Swann, Philander, Steyn, Anderson.

My team: Cook, Smith, Amla, Pujara, Clarke, deVilliers, Ashwin, Broad, Philander, Swann, Steyn. Picking from those who have played at least eight Tests.
I always say that everybody's right.

Worth having a look at this. I thought some of it to be quite funny.

Jaya got it for walking once! Lots of players have walked over the year.

Pujara's award was well deserved. Well done to Kevin O'Brien. And Clarke was a worthy winner.

Pujara is hardly an emerging cricketer - he made his Test debut in 2010.
