Actually I say no mention, because he ain't on any odds list yet, but a pundit on the radio did mention him in passing tonight.

Hes 10/1, 3rd fav. with Coral..it won't happen though.

I must have missed that, didn't see his name anywhere on Skybet earlier.

You are probably right, he has everything he needs right now at Bournemouth, and the backing of the owner. I wouldn't take it if I were him, Bournemouth are on the rise and Southampton are a bit of an unknown quantity right now with the owner not really interested and a couple of players looking like they may exit the door before the season starts.

Besides if you do make him an offer I expect Mr Demin will make it worth his while to stay.

With all due respect to Howe, we need to aim higher than him, if we were to take a Championship manager, Dyche would be ahead of him.

There's an argument to be had that Howe started the revolution at Burnley and Dyche finished it.

Rumours in Norway are suggesting that Bastian Schweinsteiger is being put on the transfer list by Bayern for only 12 million Euro's!!! According to recent comments, essentially Bastian, who spent most of the year injured, has got the foot of the blame for upsetting an unbeatable team when he come back towards the end of the year, and Guardiola now views him as surplus to requirements, with the extra money going towards a new contract for Toni Kroos, and his place taken by Kroos to keep him happy.

If this is true, then Guardiola needs taking to his nearest mental hospital. At 10million quid, Schweinsteiger would be the bargain of the century, and even if the injuries have slowed him (which they didn't appear to), at that price any team with the cash would surely take the risk?

He is, for me, the best central midfielder in world football when on form.

Far less likely to print things just to fill up column inches, and mostly always only tend to print things that are in motion, rather than speculation.

Having said that, this one seems truly unbelieveable.

City would be a good move for him, where he can have his workload managed.

Very amusing, must admit I thought they were making a bid for the England keeper for a minute.

Poyet signs a new contract with Sunderland. Phew. The bookies linking him to us did worry me slightly.

Thats a relief, just need Di Canio to go somewhere and thats the 2 disasters out of the way.

Looks like Laudrup is Celtics no. 1 target, we will probably end up with RDM or Mackay.

Sad news, 85 is a decent age though.

Not sure how it worked but the sons were the ones effectively running the club so nothing will change at the club in that respect.
