PSG paid £50m for him :lmaoagain :lmaoagain :lmaoagain

Tbf he had been one of their better players until yesterday and one of the main reasons why they got this far, apart from the refrees of course. :halo:

Although I accept he has been better attackingly than defensively. A midfield role should probably suit him more. Mourinho will be probably laughing though at the amount at which he has sold him.

Yep, his reputation that invokes fear in the minds of the opposition defenders alongwith the fact that he has world class players around him make it possible for the Germans to carry him during poor form.

The best thing about last night's game was that I could get to bed by 10 o'clock.

Wish I was able to see that match last night.

Probably the biggest shock in WC history. Somehow they have to pick themselves up and play that 3rd place match (which I think should be scrapped).

I don't think you can fault Ozil last night, the tight and incisive passing from all of German's midfield tore up Brazil time and time again. You can fault Ozil against Algeria because he was by far the worst guy on the pitch (and still scored), and he hasn't had the best of tournaments or years (from the start of 2014). I think he looked tired by the end of the Prem year, he struggled to adapt to the fitness and speed of the league.

When he looks fit, I doubt there are many better players in the world. He can win Arsenal a league in the future once he has chance to build fitness and has a good rest..... his passing and creativity is unbelievable at times, especially playing at pace.

If 10 to 15 goals are not scored today then I will lose faith in soccer. :dance

no, but seriously I hope the teams don't sit back like some commentators are suggesting, Van Neistleroy being one of those.
