Louis van Gaal wants Man Utd to emulate Dutch.

So I guess he's shooting for 3rd place, I'd take that after last year.

LVG is adamant that Wayne Rooney needs to lose a couple of pounds in weight.

Looking at Man Utd's first 6 PL games they seem in complete contrast to Moyes first 6 last season.

I't given a couple of papers an excuse to talk about resurrecting the idea of the 39th game again.

Not gonna happen.

Is it to knee-jerk to mention Man Utd and the words serious title contenders? No CL, a new manager, Mata, Rooney, RVP. Not convinced about their defense, or midfield, though Fletcher is back. Always thought he was a very good CM for Utd.

Watched last night's Pre-season Cup Final against Liverpool. There weren't many shots on goal and Utd looked flat at times in the first half. That could be down to the heat though. Utd worthy winners in the second half and you wonder how well Liverpool will do this season without Suarez.

Too early. Need CB's before United are even top 4 quality imo then we need a CM and a wing back.

Hope Kagawa doesn't leave. No point getting rid of these squad players if we're gonna bring no one in.

Him, Fellaini and RVP are not even training yet I don't think cos of the world cup.

Ashley Young has been great at wingback but only pre season.
