Stats and midfielders are not compatible. Look at scholes's stats in his last few seasons, and you'd think he was crap. The only player stat I like is centre forward - goals scored. Even then, the whole story isn't told.

A number of these "Star Footballers" are like art or Beverly hills houses. Put a ridiculous price tag on them on everyone will believe.

That's because Real Madrid have no idea what they're doing...

They play Casillas who's way past it ahead of Navas
Have 1 striker in the whole squad
Spend £60m on 2 midfielders, only for both to sit on the bench every game
Play Ramos/Pepe ahead of Varane
Spend £60m on another attacking midfielder when they already have better players Di Maria and Isco.
And now they sell the player who won them the Champions League and saved Ancelotti's job...

More over where does he fit in to this United side? Does he even speak English? How's his sign language? Does he relate to children? Will he be willing to sing the United songs in the locker rooms?

I hope he does well for us, but from a business move it's a desperate move. I would pay 60 mill pounds for a great player, but not really bloody good player.

He's worth around £40m but obviously Man Utd don't care about money as they just signed a £750m deal with Adidas and get loads from Chevrolet and Aon too.

Man Utd need a world class player like Di Maria, you'd rather spend £65m on him than not spend and have nobody.

As for the language, have no idea if he speaks English but half the team speak Spanish so he'll fit in alright.

What's the story with Henderson? 95% of his passes have been straight back. Can't seem to turn with the ball, perhaps he has a fused lower back.
