If Arsenal had a Aguerro, they'd be a genuine title contender, but they have a Welbeck instead and are a top 4 contender.

was thinking the same thing actually , that's been the difference in this first half

I still think wellbeck is better than giroud but hes definitely not in the class either of the Manchester clubs have or Chelsea

Welbecks more of a workhorse than Giroud, but if I needed someone to score a 1 on 1 to save my life, I'd pick Giroud of the 2.

He is the worst footballer I have ever seen ( worse than Welbeck ), hes not good enough for League 2.

you must watch some fantastic football if the worst player you have ever seen can score a goal like that ;)

Almost makes up for the massive error that led to City scoring :)

arsenal are really short on cover for the back 4 as well

man city probably a bit lucky to get a draw on the overall play

that's not a good result for arsenal imo , I think that was the sort of game they have to be winning especially against an under-strength man city

Only one team looked like winning in the last 10 minutes - and it was not the side in red.

in the last 10 minutes arsenal had 2 pretty good chances too tbh

overall I think arsenal were the better team and man city looked weak in the middle of the pitch without their 2 first choice central midfielders

He still has 6 years left on his contract, I think..Ashley will have to pay a fortune to buy him out, Ashley and spending money is rare.

true but there will come a point that ceases to be a factor and it cant be that far away

I don't think he is overly popular with the toon army , and the way today is going so far is not going to improve that

that contract may prove to be a gamble that will backfire massively on Ashley , I get the impression he thought pardew might be in line for the England job after that great season they had and tied him into a long contract so he could get as much compensation from the FA as possible , obviously that's never gonna happen now
