Interesting that KP has singled out Prior, and unsurprising that he has gone after Flower. I get the feeling that rather than be a tell all book as we've been promised, it's going to be a carefully chosen PR task. Going after the likes of Cook will provoke an ECB backlash, going after players who are no longer part of the side will more than likely not do so.

Well, we did see that in the field didn't see, with the bowlers' reactions to misfields. Later on, he says he gets on with the bowlers, and mainly goes for the big cheese.

I imagine we'll hear from Swann soon enough.

Some of this is a bit frothy. For a while the batting wasn't functioning, and the bowlers maintained the team. This was bound to lead to bad feeling. It's the stuff about Flower that really needs to be answered. And the journos have shied away from this issue. And he's in charge of the Lions....

Which team mates would have done that, clearly not Strauss, Cook, Prior, Anderson, Swann or Broad which narrows the field considerably. Mind you I could imagine Swann acting as 'agent provocateur' just for the fun of it.

It'd be surprising if there wasn't at least some exaggeration. But it is more likely players less cosseted by the system would be the ones more dissatisfied with it.

Seems to be a lot of squabbling over the will - would probably have been better if the team had passed on intestate.

I think we'll have to wait a couple of years for Ian Bell's book to learn the truth, after all he is the longest standing member of the England team. If he plays his cards right his revelations could be worth millions.

He hasn't done too badly out of England cricket. Millions in the bank, an opportunity to play international cricket which he was unlikely to get in the country of his birth and an international profile that many would dream of. It could be characterized that he's now biting the hand that's fed him rather generously.

I find it all a bit childish, tbh. I can sort of see why KP wants to tell his side, but this is a man who sent text messages about his own captain to an opposition captain. I won't be buying the book.
