Im not sure Wilshere is going to be around to long at the top. He needs to do something with Arsenal this season, and he is yet to impress in an England shirt. He needs to make his mark this season.

Tonight the pace reminded me of a friendly match. San Marino haven't been corrupted by the Premier League to put in cynical fouls so the pace suited England.

SM obviously intended damage limitation from the start. They knew they wouldn't win so just parked the bus and hoped to keep the score as low as possible.
