I think that usually happens in his dressing room after the show.

It's been the subject of a lot of debate. Some say it's no stronger than idiot. Others that it isn't polite, but not the nuclear option that the C-word is. In English, there are many different words for vagina that carry a whole range of emphasis when used as swear words. From pussy to ****. Scots use tube to mean idiot, as it's an empty space. maybe box could be used as such. SA posters seem to suggest that it ranges in meaning depending on where you are (probably including NL).

where I grew up even the c-word was used in a non-derogatory way tbh , obviously not in mixed company tho

so local variations and applications of slang terms is important

regardless of his intent with its meaning he was wrong in slagging of his captain to the opponents in the middle of a series, even if it was thought to be private

I still want to find out how the details of those text messages ended up in the public domain tbh

It can and often is used in an endearing way but I believe that the 'C' word was common parlance way back when. Both words mean pretty much the same when someone is called it.

They were sent to his IPL team mates who told Neil Manthorp about them. KP doesn't have a lot of luck with his mates. To his credit, KP has never actually named them. But it was Steyn and someone else.

I imagine to destablise the England team before the series. But the England management didn't let them get away with that. No sir.

Exactly what Smith says was a tactic they used against England.

They were not regarded as trouble makers as far as I know. But there you again using the 'comparisons of form when the subject is Pietersen. I should point out that at the end of the ashes series before he resigned, Flower said every player would be required to play CC cricket to prove their worth. Cook scored 386 runs in 3 games with 2 centuries, Bell 506 runs in 4 games with 2 centuries, both Prior and Trott well incapacitated. So the return of Cook and Bell was confirmed by their county form.

Exactly. KP was seen as a trouble maker, which was why he was sacked. It wasn't about runs. And KP wasn't given the option of scoring runs at the start of the season. He was told the team was moving on without him.
