In my opinion Paul Merson is a substandard columnist who is using past glories to prolong a career in football. There are people that SkySports can pay less money to get more insightful content on their site.

Isn't that the same with most pundits?

I agree with the main point, but you also have to say in terms of "prediction" to "reality", how many people thought United would draw at West Brom and Burnley? Or draw with Chlesea and then beat Arsenal away after that had happened? How many people expected Chelsea to draw against Villa?

Of course, if someone asks "who do you think will win between Chelsea and X"..... only really 1 games away from home are they not favourites to win, vs Man City... would I be stupid for predicting a win vs lower league teams when on the balance of averages, in 10 matches away they will probably draw 3 or 4?

Leicester v Liverpool is very low on quality thus far, two teams clearly struggling for form right now.

Fellaini's turning into a right goal machine.

That's two he's scored already this season.

fantastic comment from ian wright during the arsenal game which just sums up arsenal over the last year or two imo

he said "arsenal have a few players with pace but they don't play football with any"

Nice height for him.

Arsenal are knocking though. City 4-1 up, now.
