9 points a lot for man utd to make up , especially on two teams

depends on how much cash they spend this month maybe as they still look weak through central defence and central midfield

Yeah, I'd be very surprised if Utd managed to catch both sides, but no other team can win it, imo. Utd not being in the CL will help a little, you would think.

Utd are looking better than last season but they are still miles off the quality of Chelsea and City. LVG must get a couple of decent defenders in the transfer window to maintain their top 4 position. Media talking about how Utd are playing fewer games so won't feel as tired. To me that's a red herring. In their treble season Utd's last 10 games were major games and kept an unbeaten record going. They should have been too exhausted to win the treble but they did it. All you need is the hunger, adreniline and a bit of luck.

Savour this game as it will probably be Chelsea's last defeat of the season.

possibly , almost all of their big games in the second half are at home , only got to go to arsenal and not sure if that counts

Got one back, and half an hour still to go. Didn't these two draw 4-4 a few years ago?

as a viewer you could say it was a day of 6 halves

the first 3(man utd-stoke and first half at man city) were pretty drab , the second three(second half at man city and spurs-Chelsea) great

I think Man City remain 2nd on account of playing a home match vs Chelsea. The goals scored, goals conceeded and points are the same though.
