No I agree, Bale isn't worth over what Madrid paid for him to Spurs. So 80m. The rumoured figures are crazy. But LVG speaking like this sounds like he wants to create one truly great side before he departs. So if he wants a player, he will try as hard as possible to get him, I doubt he would want to pay 120million though of course.

Tbh Bale is a weird target when Reus is available.

Sources from the club in the papers think De Gea will be here till 2016 at least. I wouldn't want to lose De Gea for Bale.

Madrid buy players just for the sake of it, every year needs a huge transfer, and for that reason Bale has largely already served his purpose.

Bale has coped a huge amount of stick in recent weeks because, after now looking the part and getting the attention, its clear Ronaldo is getting a little pee'd off with the attention he generates, and in the last few games there has been friction between the two that is evident. The Madrid friendly press are starting to call Bale "the ball hog", and Ronaldo lost it with him against Valencia when Bale was 1on 1 and shot instead of pass to Ronaldo.. Ronaldo was said to have called him "the son of a whore" when the Spanish press had a lip reader look into it.

It happened again yesterday, Bale again had a shot instead of pass to Ronaldo, and the home crowd then booed and Jeered Bale for the rest of the game. Bale would be sold in an instant rather then let him make Ronaldo unhappy.... the sad thing is, every striker in the world would have shot in both situations, and Ronaldo certainly would never have passed either....

But, with a team of so many superstars, its simply too hard in the modern game to keep all those ego's happy

I think Bale to United will happen in the next 18 months.
