Beggers belief. How can a man who was expected to lose his job simply make a new job up for himself and keep the band playing.

I have every confidence in Graves delivering the goods, after all he did save Yorkshire from complete ruin. Now that the ECB are in a sound financial footing, there is greater scope on strengthening the domestic game.

I wouldn't be surprised if there are high profile casualties in this internal top-bottom review.

It's also refreshing to hear on talk of expanding the first class game, especially when certain players are advocating franchise cricket and some ponce wanting counties culled on the back of an Ashes whitewash.

It's refreshing to hear someone talk about the game with passion instead of jargon. It's refreshing to hear someone talk about a game instead of a company. It's refreshing to hear someone talk as a realist about the domestic game rather than sweaping it under the carpet. Finally it is refreshing to hear someone come in with an open mind rather than a company script.

Hopefully Graves will dig the rot out of the ECB.

anyone else really dislike the formatting changes cricinfo have made to their site, specifically the articles, I think it makes it harder to find stuff

Lots of sites are looking more magazine like. The BBC was first at that, though their version was quite bad. The Guardian has gone for a similar look. You get used to it, but I've never got to like the BBC one.

A horrible layout trying to mimic Windows 8.

Before getting to read the India v England ODI review, there is a stupid video that autoplays itself (now blocked), a picture of two Indian players amongst a left column of related news articles.

Golden rule in website design is 3 seconds to impress the user before they go elsewhere, cricinfo have massively failed in that respect.
