Still can't believe we got Kellet, still in shock, and hats off to the Man Utd scouts.

Yeah I think maybe you're getting confused with the Man Utd cricket club.

I avoided SSN all day yesterday.

That way I didn't see them getting over-excited about some third rate player going to a third rate club in 99.9% of all transfers yesrterday.

Newcastle loaning 5 players to Rangers :hmmm

I guess that helps rangers, but not sure how Newcastle fans will see that. Obviously no first team regulars, but it does weaken the squad, and which club is paying the wages?

Do Rangers even have a change of promotion, because doesn't one team go up in that league, and Hearts must be uncatchable already?

2 teams go up with a play off for the second place I believe?

The champions are promoted to the Premiership and clubs in 2nd, 3rd and 4th enter two-legged play-offs. The winner of 4th v 3rd plays 2nd, with the winner of that tie up against the club finishing 11th in the Premiership.

So still a bit of work to do for Rangers.

Interesting to note that Newcastle made no signings this window. And 5 player leave on loan. Ashley's mind on his new club maybe?

Well it was ultra bizarre they loaned out Santon, who I rate as a very good player.
They have no defensive options in reserve, and get rid of a very good player they need on loan, with the complete transfer only said to be worth 3 million if Inter take up the option?

That is mental

He has a tiny stake but I think he was rejected by the league to own more because he cant own two clubs in Britain...... so he loaned Rangers 10 million to keep afloat, and it appears that he will sell Newcastle and take over Rangers.

I think he was hoping Newcastle would go down, as it only applies in the Premier League I believe.

which is just a convenient excuse I think

he resigns the day after the transfer window closes when he wasn't allowed to do any business by the owner saying he needs a knee operation ?

Quite a few footy message boards suggest he's chucked his toys out of the pram. Wonder if he is Newcastle bound after the op.
