Judging by the first half hour of play there's no danger of that happening.

Have you ever seen him talk, he comes across as having half a functional brain in all honesty..... some things he has said in the past as a pundit are not only dumb, but I havent heard him say anything of use that makes me think he would cut it as a manager.

"I was very suprised, but I always say that nothing suprises me in football".....

"As a manager you prefer to win one game and lose two, then draw three, because you get more points that way"....

Don't rate him defensively at all, should of been sent off for his stamp on Girouds calf, and the 2 dives to try and get Welbeck sent off.

Good going forward, haven;t seen a lot of him myself. The tackle on Giroud was horrific.

Not sure about him myself, I think they have a better player at the club, but at the moment do you back away from a successful formula

Nigel Pearson has been sacked....seems that his incident with James McAthur was the reason

He gets tackled and bangs into Pearson, and appears gets a hand round his neck and an angry Pearson grabbing him as a result

Yeah, the Palace player doesn't seem to have done a lot wrong, though Pearson did say that he said something derogatory to him.

Not officially.

I think the touchline spat was the straw that broke the camels back, not "the reason", had they won and the incident still happened, I doubt he would of gone.

BUT, Hes black, therefore automatically over-qualified and its racist if he isn't given a 5 year contract.
