Fine by me, as long as nobody else has any objections. We have done this before.

I couldn't remember how we accomodated this in the past, but I knew that we had. It is only the first day into a very long season, after all

BNs squad selection suggests no obvious advantage was gained after the matches began, I'd let all points count.

I'm happy to let Red take the final decision, but my instinct is that we have always asked latecomers to forfeit points from the affected matches.

that being said, if there was a consensus to just accept the entry with no forfeitures, it would make my life a lot easier........ although I can do it either way

Normally we insist on a forfeiture but that tends to be because the league is over less games therefore an advantage can be gained. In this case, since it is such a long haul and everyone seems agreed that the selection does not give bn any benefit from the cricket that has been played thus far then I think it seems fair to allow all the points to count.

However, it should be clear that this should in no way be seen as precedent for other cases - if someone picks a team midway through the first test of a test series then we'd have to have the forfeiture apply - or in any other case where everyone was not completely convinced that no benefit had been gained.
