Have to give Samuels and the Windies alot of credit for getting to 188-5 in those conditions.

I hear that Samuels was spurred on by the chat he was getting, particularly from Stokes. I still don't get why players bother with that sledging nonsense, just makes a batsman like Samuels more determined.

His past record (like with Cook and Trott) will help. I would personally like to see Broad perservered with, but needs to take wickets. Not too worried about his batting, as that's always been an added bonus.

There's no one who can really take his place though. Woakes will come back but he will probably just replace Jordan.
