Cook looking in utmost control so far.
WI have frankly been woeful with the new ball. Haven't made the batsmen play at all.

Not sure I understand the criticism for slow scoring. England are playing this perfectly. WI haven't made them play at all.

England bowled when it suited the bowlers and now batting when it suits the batsmen, if they want to win, they NEED to up it.

This is absolutely terrible from the WI seamers. Not a single delivery on driving length.

depends how much time is lost next couple of days if any

should be 98 overs each day so in theory plenty of time for England to try to just bat once

nothing to panic about yet with the run rate

12 overs left tonight ( and we might not get them all in) so I'd settle for keeping all the wickets intact tonight and build again tomorrow.

Nothing to panic about, but the bowling has been reasonably poor, should really cash in.

Bishoo looks far more threatening than the seamers. WI could've done with another spinner here.

Seamers have been rank awful.

Decisive footwork from Cook in this innings. Hasn't looked like a man out of form at all. Really impressive inns so far. Feet moving nicely.

if the windies bowl like that tomorrow we should make 500+ and be able to win the game

if the top 4 provide a solid base the middle/lower order of root, moeen, stokes and buttler should be able to make hay against tiring seamers and a leggie who offers a bad ball most overs

Excellent session for England. Near-perfect batting. Both look set for a big one tomorrow.
