In getting him to bowl faster, he's losing revs. This, apparently has been his problem on tour.

Aggressive bowling hasn't compromised Rashid's wicket taking ability. Tredwell's lack of aggression was the difference between winning and drawing the 1st test.

I would agree, but doesn't the fact that Trott is opening in this game mean its likely he'll open in the first test against NZ at the end of this month. I for one hope not, but surely Lyth would have to play in this game for him to stand any chance of playing in the NZ series.

as I said above it was as much the way he got out today that would worry me

he'll be facing better pace attacks against NZ and Aus than what he has on this tour
