A public bashing from Colin Graves in the lines of this would be great.

“It’s down to the players who have been on the park – nobody else,” said Graves. “The performances have been a disgrace; they have been unacceptable. The players need to take a long, hard look at themselves as far as I’m concerned.

“We’ve given them everything they wanted – contracts, salaries, we’ve given them everything. So they can’t turn round and say England's done this or England's done that.

“In the past, they’ve blamed the pitches and said we can’t get a result pitch in Antigua. Well, we’ve had bloody result pitches in the Carribean this year, but we can't win on them."

“Don’t blame the bloody pitch, it’s not the pitch. It’s the fact they can’t play on it, that’s the problem.”
"Stats are there to be broken" Dominic Cork
"They took all our players away, banned our captain and we still came away with a ten-wicket victory" Jason Gillespie
"You won't get anywhere slouching about half out of bed" Geoffrey Boycott

Cook needs the sack and Moore's too

Not worse than the whitewash. But otherwise, yes.

But mainly, credit to WI for coming back from a big deficit. After losing the last game. Showed a lot of character, and played well as a team. Superb.

I wonder how different the game would of gone if Cook had of survived the final over on day 1.

Brilliant effort from the West Indies and well deserved.

Some very poor batting from our top order really cost us the game. Yes you can go on about the spinner(s) but there wasn't enough scoreboard pressure.

But take nothing away from the Windies - Blackwood my MoM - 85 in the first innings and a 100 winning partnership in the second.

Seems somewhat fitting that Cook's first ton in a long time comes in a loss.

Or if he was given out earlier in the day?
