The thing that pisses me off most in these latest events is that Pietersen stock is rising, ridiculous when you consider he's responsible for most of the shite that has happened.

Not just the KP issue, but the leaks. Why would you want to work with admin who would make the mediocre comment? Would you want Strauss for your boss who has no qualifications for his position?

Anyone watching Strauss on SSN, he must be one of the most thick skinned people I ever witnessed?

This guy has virtually no experience as a coach etc, yet he knows all about Moores abilities and he's got to listen various candidates as a replacement.

Where did he get all this ability from? This is crazy!

I find it surprising that Gillespie is apparently put his name forward. He would be crazy to take the opportunity of career suicide

I decided to end my Sky Sports subscription (after the election), which I've always felt hypocritical about. Then I felt a bit daft, because I'd booked time off for nearly all the Tests this year. But this has given me fresh impetus.
I always say that everybody's right.

Poor Strauss, only in the job a day or so, and pilloried by all comers.

Give the guy a bloody chance, even if you are a Pietersen lover. Judge him by what happens over two years not two days.

I gave him a chance.... then he stated KP couldn't be trusted to be part of the team, while meanwhile saying he offered him a job in the team.

I concluded at 11:45 that Andrew Strauss was clearly retarded

This is the same organisation that trusted Allen Stanford. Not sure they're in a position to be judging people.

Why was he given the chance in the first place though. That is the real issue and the answer is the same as always. It's not a question of being a KP fan, it's about having a team that can win.

As you say he's only been in the job a day or so, but don't you think he might have thought about what to say, before saying it?

What is my opinion of Strauss' tenure (albeit a short one) so far?

Strauss, "It's a big learning process for me" "There's a lot of good clever thinking people in English Cricket who I need advice from".

Says it all really.
