No need to hit quick runs.... NZ just need to make sure they have a decent lead at the end of the day... batting normally is 200 lead if they stay in.

Thats the way McCullum plays though, same with Corey Anderson, obviously if NZ were 300 behind and he played like that, there would be criticism, but for where the game is that is acceptable

Doubt it. NZ have plenty of wickets in hand and plenty of time. They'll just get as many as possible and hope that England capitulate in the second innings.
