150 for Cook. Hopefully this is the knock that gets him back to scoring big runs. While I may have serious objections to him as a skipper and the way he has conducted himself over the last year, there isn't a better opener in England.

So close to being in a position to have had a crack at En Zed tonight, and it wouldn't have required a whole lot of extra effort or risk. Cook is a great bat, that I won't argue against, but his captaincy and personality is killing this very good England team.

Not saying they can't still knock En Zed over tomorrow, but imagine having one or two wickets tonight.

Im guessing the best bowling conditions will be tomorrow morning.

Surely if England want to win this then they need to be bowling then.

Stokes has given them a great chance to win this game, why not try and take that.

I guess not loosing is the important thing. No matter the conditions tomorrow morning i'm guessing England will be batting.

But a great day for England to get themselves into this position.

Everyone talking about England taking the chance to win the game from here and not settling for a draw. Have to bear in mind that the mindset for the last day and half has been to save the game.

Adjust relative to whats happened though. Stokes and Cook have given the England a great chance to push for a win.

Can't see anything other than an England win or a draw. Doubt England will declare in the first hour though. Which is fine, no one should take a quixotic punt on a win, and risk defeat, after working hard to get back on top. Giving NZ a glimpse of victory would make them bat more recklessly, but England would be idiotic to risk defeat, however slight. And I can't see Commander Strauss countenancing that.
