Didn't need a crystal ball to see that coming. He looks like he is a sitting duck against bowlers of Boult's quality. Kept on shuffling to the offside chasing a few wide ones, and then when the weight is coming forward and to the offside, bam.... inswinger, timbers rattled. Very good from Boult, classic swingers dismissal.

A top batsman doesn't get worked over like that though. Ballance has a lot of work to do before he convinces me he can make it against quality attacks at this level. Runs against India and Sri Lanka at home were not exactly a premium.
