The one we do know is Shah, who was reprimanded the other week for bad language (although rather bizarrely, said bad language wasn't in relation to him getting out. Instead he was vocally expressing his pleasure at a 6 he hit, as I understand it).

Didn't realise we were playing last night, must have misread the fixtures. Good to post a score close to 200 at last, mind you we would have passed 200 in our last game if not chasing so good signs with the batting. Interesting to note that Carberry carried his bat while only facing about 7 overs of the strike.

I know Bird is coming back from a shoulder injury but he really hasn't got going for us at all yet, but I guess we should give him time. I'm assuming Fidel Edwards has gone now just as he was starting to show some real form, will he be coming back later in the season?

Wasn't sure how good 157 was as it seemed a bit of a struggle for most of the Hants innings.

Sussex 15/3 after 3 overs suggests it might not have been too bad.

But which Cachopa. Craig has been a regular but his elder brother Carl has now joined him at Sussex. Don't think Craig has ever threatened this sort of inmings so I'm wondering if it's Carl?

Cricinfo say it was Craig. He's been pants for most of this season in the CC. I didn't realise we had a game last night also. T20 for me is almost off the radar these days, I just can't be bothered with it.

First Blake, then Gayle, now Cachopa. I'll never criticise the bowlers when one man just comes off with the bat like that. That's all it takes in t20. And in all three of our defeats, that is exactly what has happened.

But just like those games against Kent and, in particular Somerset, we simply didn't score enough with the bat last night. I know we didn't have the choice last night, because Sussex won the toss and inserted us, but I can't help but feel that we're a bat second team - especially at the Rose Bowl. The ground is so big at the Rose Bowl, that we give our wickets away in the deep so often. If we had a direct idea of what we needed to score, maybe we wouldn't do that.

Berg impressed me with the ball. Throw in the fact that he can bat, and the fact that Bird has been expensive in this format so far and is injury prone, and I would now keep Berg in the team until Fidel is back. And if Berg performs well on a regular basis during that time, well it puts immense pressure on Wood for his place, which is good.

PS. Smith's catch to get rid of Wright last night was possibly the best catch I have ever seen live. Total stunner.

Looks like Dawson for Vince, and Tommo for Fidel, tomorrow.

The annoying thing is that Vince will almost certainly only be 12th (or 13th) man for the t20 vs NZ (he had half of chance of starting, before Bairstow's knock today). I'm not quite sure how the ECB think a one-off t20 is more important than a County Championship game. Especially when that CC match is a relegation six-pointer, and the player involved will, as I say, only be carrying the drinks.

I wouldn't mind Wood playing a 4dayer, but it wont happen anytime soon.

Excellent toss for Somerset to win. Good weather, the Rose Bowl pitch, and in Rehman they have a spinner who might be able to cause some damage on the fourth day.

Presumably we'll slot Dawson straight into Vince's no.4 position, rather than shuffle people around. I know he often underperforms with the bat, but I do feel sorry for Dawson spending his whole career to date moving up and down our order.
