If that really is the case then its a blooming disgrace with the amount of money thats floating around the English game these days. I'm wondering whether its more of a case that we are good enough but the players due to past history don't think they are when they get on the biggest stage, and we haven't got the right people in place to instill the belief that they can compete at the top level.

I feel it's down to the culture of youth football in England. A talented youngster learning their trade at a Football League side, gets poached by a Premier League side offering the world, then released before the age of 19. Said Premier League clubs also signing talented youngsters from abroad to boost their youth and development squad sides.

When watching the FA Youth Cup final, I find it disheartening to learn the elite practically buy these youngsters to field a side rather than develop players from primary school age.

Garbutt looked like a nailed on loan signing to Bournemouth but funny thing the local rag says today that our interest has dramatically cooled. Wonder if it had anything to do with his appearances at the U21's?!

The Chile vs Uruguay game certainly had some talking points.

Got to feel for Cavani, and Jara should be having to serve a fair ban for that?

Also wonder why the ref gave a yellow card. He obviously did not see anything, so how can he give a card?

It seems it was a plan, did they targeted Cavani due to the personal issues he was going through? The problem is that Cavani did not retaliate but still got sent off.

Jara needs a long ban, and i agree its as bad as Suarez if not worse. Is that sexual assault?

Another question is, did Chile target Cavani due to his personal problems. If so then maybe something needs to be done to Chile.

Jara did the exact same thing to Higuain a few years back and then there was a similar incident with him on Suarez.

Jara has been banned for the rest of the Copa America.

Is that enough of a ban? Surely a Match limit should be done.

Yep, that was clearly the reason, both left backs.

I can't cope with little old Bournemouth paying 8 million for a left back, it doesn't seem right!

If only Chippenham Town added a sell on clause for Tyrone Mings.

Jara was telling Carvani something amazing and all Carvani said was "Well bugger me".
