Straight up. I think my comment was that he should watch more county cricket when he basically said "England shouldn't pick Chris Woakes because I've never heard of him" or some such rubbish. Essentially he never bothers with the county stuff on Sky and only bothers paying attention to players playing for England. He didn't like that.

Mind you, all the Sky commentators have an inherent blindness to county players when internationals play. I remember a T20 game of Sussex vs. Kent last year where Sussex needed something like 20 off 2 overs and Paul Allott satted as Chris Jordan walked in "he's going to have to win it for Sussex here". This was despite Will Beer being 30 off 15 at the other end and going like a train.
Anything can happen with a round ball.

Coz we're going up, and we'll win the cup, for Sussex by the Sea!

I've always wanted to wind up Nick Knight to the point where he says "How many test runs did you get?" then I can reply by saying "Well I've never played test cricket but I'm still not far behind you".

Reckon a lot of Aussies will have turned in, but the day is still up for grabs. Two wickets and it's Australia's day.

Root saves us again. Sounds like it's been a great counter attacking innings.

That pull shot by Root reminded me of Michael Atherton. Got to say I haven't watched him play a lot of test matches, but I'm glad to see him now.

Not often these days are their batters that leave little gap between bat and pad. :salute
