I wouldn't recommend an English coach...

I just looked at the squad ages, and England's oldest player, Bell, is younger than seven of the Australian squad (eight if you include Harris). Wow. Only three of the England team are over 30, and in the case of Cook, it's only just.

And I was surprised to see that Lyon, at 27, is one of the younger members of the Australian team. Poor chap, he looks much older than he is.

The Aussies whitewashed England with those players 18 months ago.

so, it appears that the Aus selectors DON'T listen to me.

I wouldn't say that I am hurt by this, as such. Confused, yes.

Feels like a Scooby Doo ending is imminent.

either the Beeb changed the photo or you ARE mistaken. That batsmen has bags under his eyes - Root looks just old enough to have school bags.

The one difference is that George will be smiling, not snarling "I would have gotten away with it, if it weren't for you meddling kids", when they unzip his mask.

Aparently true, Nevill stands about 5 yards behind him.

Good one Mark.

Hope all is well though with his family. Explains where his head was during the first test, and I should not have been so hard on him.
