For those without a BT phone and/or internet (ie me) Buying BT seperately costs a small fortune when added to the full Sky package.

If this comes off I may have to take out BT sport and cancel the Sport on Sky. But then Sky have lots of other stuff that BT dont.

Sky will still have the domestic limited overs stuff I guess and the home tests, and the majority of other test matches.

It's a minefield.

Yes, deal is between BT and Cricket Australia. That article mentions they pay £11m for each Premier League match?!

I think i'll stay with Sky for now but it's going to be a problem for quite a lot of sports fans as most can't afford both.

On Sky, i watch the Premier League, world cricket, county cricket, IPL, BBL, La Liga and occasionally golf, tennis etc.
On BT, there is the Australian tests, Champions League, Europa League, Premier League, CPL, loads of other European football leagues.

I usually just use streams for football on BT as there's loads of good quality ones but online streams for cricket are pretty poor. Guess i'll just stick it out and hope i'm rich by 2017!

Sky overpaid massively to keep the Premier League from BT and now they don't have enough money for anything else like Australian tests, Champions League, Europa League etc.

I have Virgin and you have to pay an extra £18 for BT although i guess it depends what package you're on already.

It probably affects you guys more than me. I hardly watch any of the cricket in the middle of the night even if it's the World Cup or Ashes.

I would imagine as a result of this Sky might push their coverage of India / South Africa home tests a lot more, and there's nothing much wrong with that. They already do a lot for the West Indies games, especially tests, so maybe something more along those lines?

...now of only they could organise a summer fixture structure that will work :facepalm
