Great 3 last overs from England - Willey and Topley conceded 8 each which is brilliant at that stage of the game and with their inexperience, whilst Stokes got it bang on in the last over. Calamitous last over from Australia, Stoinis looked like a rabbit in the headlights. Smith will probably blame himself for getting out with the target in sight.

The two giggling girls were then replaced by a male and what sounded like an australian female. Definite improvement, she must have been a moose because he wasn't doing any flirting!

I listened to that. A couple of them were good, and one poor, but (for me) all were better to listen to than Boycott and Blofeld. Took a bit of getting used to.

thought topley was very impressive in his two death overs

shame he was let down by two slips from billings and a fumble from moeen that added 5 or 6 runs to his tally

hit his yorkers consistently and bowled some good variations, did marsh all ends up with that slower ball

very promising

the poor start almost cost us, felt like jason roy was very guilty of over hitting the ball

he kept losing his shape and completely mishitting it, with the field up you dont need to hit it out of the ground

be interesting to see if australias ODI line up looks as top heavy as this one

He is usually a very poor starter, I said at the time that he would take at least 3 overs before he would start to connect effectively and it was why we had only scored 27 off the powerplay. Still he made up for it when he got in, which he often does.

Still struggling with the openers, seems its a trait in all forms of the game for us in recent times.

Hales has been one of the stars of the format, though he has a reputation for having a look first. So it's just his partner. Moeen will end up there if Roy doesn't grab the position.

Mo keeps getting told that he can't play pace. OK, you don't get catchers in T20, but he did ok today.
