Are you attending ? a transcript would be nice

I hope to go but might not be able to, if I do I will make notes!

He probably wont speak much (if at all about Hants ), will be questions on his time at Durham

Yeah, I think so. He might get asked about why he left Durham a year before his contract expired when we all expected he'd move into a coaching role. According to Harmy it was down to Colly but he might have been bitter over Colly's decision to drop him!

He's not going to openly criticise Durham, and especially not at a Durham run event

What a joke dropping Gatting who is our best batsman this season and picking 5 seamers on a pitch we will need a long tail

I'm not sure what I'm more gobsmacked at. Gatting being dropped, or Stevenson being thrown in for his debut.

Crane being dropped for this match does not surprise me at all, but I really thought it would be for Tommo. I appreciate though that it does help our batting, as Stevenson is an all-rounder. But then McLaren for Bird already strengthened our batting. The most important thing here is the bowling. I can only hope that Stevenson shows that he is good enough. Wheal certainly failed in that respect.

Thanks for everything Pothas. You'll be missed. My nickname for you was apt and I will never forget it. For the last time, arise Sir Nic.

Good start continues. McLaren seems to be fitting in perfectly. But then again, this is the Riverside. 170 could be a cracking score.

Somerset 22-5 vs Yorks. Hopefully Yorks will continue to run through them, deny them any batting points, before pushing on and win he game comfortably. Leave Somerset with a maximum of 3 points (bowling points), ahead of our trip down to Taunton.

It might be but the sun is out so in theory batting should be more straightforward tags not usual. 45/3 is a decent start by our standards!

Is that possibly the unfortunate end for Tomlinson? Signing on a promising young left armer can't be good for his chances which are already slimming this season.

Quite possible. But then again, Topley might be the replacement for Bird/McLaren. Whilst I think it's fair to assume that we wont be going for an overseas spinner next season (Crane, Dawson, Briggs), we might well go for an overseas batsman - hence leaving us a bowler down, without this Topley signing.

And Berg getting rid of Borthwick is probably the biggest wicket of them all. 9 off 57 balls.
