if it was up to me hales or roy are playing for one place once root returns as I would move Ali to open and have taylor and root at #3 and #4

before this series it would have been Roy for the chop but he has showed improvement imo even just since the NZ series , they did a segment on him the other day showing how much he seems to have tightened up his technique in just those couple of months

That's what I'm thinking as well, though I would keep Morgan at 4 and have taylor 5. Feel taylor could play the Paul Collingwood/mike hussey role of middle order nurdler who always seems to finish off the game
