sounds a bit insane unless they are doing it to get a hefty buyout clause added as that would be £25M for just the backdated period alone , minus whatever he was getting paid of course

I guess his contract running out was a major concern, and if he signs it should double the amount of money that Real will have to pay if they want him. He now has to perform to Man U to ensure that he retains or improves his value.

obviously its in their interests to make sure they don't lose him for nothing , will be interesting to see if he does sign it as i'm sure if real were getting him for no transfer fee he could probably wangle a much bigger signing on fee for himself

Not sure whats true, but being reported in some sources that Courtois' season is over, in others 3 months for a knee injury.

Either way, big blow for Chelsea. It would be funny to see them play Arsenal with a reserve goalkeeper and Cech to have the game of his life

as you say varying reports on just how long he will be out for

its a bit crazy when you see LVG saying to not expect too much from martial after spending £36M on him with more to come from addons

surely for that sort of money you want a player that's ready now

certainly is

after seeing the sort of mood Maureen was in when he was interviewed before the game I cant wait to see his post-match interview if this stays the same

I missed that. 6-3 this game last season to Chelsea, looks like being high scoring again. Can't see Chelsea not scoring.

If Everton win this, how much longer will Jose be in a job?

Just look a totally different team to what they were this time last year.

Unless Chealski do something at the back, they will concede again.

Another 6-3 game?
