Especially remarkable was England being 200-6 when Rashid came to the middle, and instead of consolidating, scored even faster.

Dalmiya is known has being the one that made ICC Millions and pretty much killed the veto and old power in the ICC.
plus he was a brilliant administrator.
guessing you thought he was the bad guy since he is the current BCCI president but most of his good work was in the 80s and 90s.

Seem to recall a few notable personal achievements this summer:
Anderson's 400th Test wicket
Anderson becoming highest England wicket taker
Broad's 300th Test wicket
Johnson's 300th Test wicket
Cook becoming highest England run scorer
Root and Smith both topping the ICC charts(?)
Clarke's retirement and subsequent guard of honour probably tops the 'emotional' moments list - with fond farewells to Harris and Rogers.

Stokes was England's third highest averaging batter, and Wood the second highest wicket taker. So not bad, given the scepticism they provoke.
